We typically aim to respond to new enquiries within one to two working days. For straightforward matters, an initial assessment can often be arranged within the same week. More detailed matters may require additional time to review documentation before we can provide substantive guidance.

We accommodate both. In-person meetings are available at our Jalan Imbi office in Kuala Lumpur. Video and telephone consultations are equally available for clients who prefer a remote arrangement or are based outside the city. We do not impose a preference — whichever works better for you is fine with us.

Our fees depend on the nature and scope of the work involved. The figures on our website represent starting points for each service area. Before any work begins, we provide a clear written outline of the anticipated costs so that you can make an informed decision. We do not begin work without your agreement on fees.

All communications between clients and Halcourt are treated as strictly confidential in accordance with our professional obligations under Malaysian Bar Council rules. We do not share client information with third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law.

While our office is based in Kuala Lumpur, we advise on matters across peninsular Malaysia. For matters that require in-court representation outside our immediate jurisdiction, we are transparent about this and can discuss appropriate arrangements with you.
